Puppet-crafters II Summer Camp

Back by popular demand; the RGC Puppet-crafters Camp is returning in summer 2026...

Over the course of 3-days campers will get creative with puppet-craft - designing and making puppets of increasing complexity as we explore the ancient art of puppetry. From simple finger and shadow puppets to more complex marionettes, we will be using a range of media and recycling / repurposing household items.

Working as a team across P3-P7 time will be spent planning and developing simple scripts, designing backgrounds and creating props.

The camp will come together with a performance on the last day which families are welcome to join, alongside an enthusiastic audience of RGC's nursery tots!

Crafty-crafters Camp is open to all, however if your child has any additional needs we encourage you to email camps@rgc.aberdeen.sch.uk prior to booking to allow us to best support your child.
